The Baku meeting will go down in history as an important milestone in strengthening legal solidarity among Turkic states, bringing their judicial systems closer together, and strengthening their common future, the Chairman of Azerbaijan's Supreme Court, Inam Karimov, said at the third meeting of the Chairmen of the Judicial Councils of the OTS countries held in Baku on June 19.
Report quotes Karimov as saying it is very important to further deepen the common legal culture of the Turkic states and widely promote the principles of justice and the rule of law:
"These visits will further strengthen friendly relations between the countries and open new horizons for the development of cultural ties. The deep historical roots and common legal and cultural heritage that unite the Turkic states still form a solid foundation for our cooperation today. The traditions of justice and statehood that have been formed between these peoples for centuries unite us around common values."
