Libyan envoy: Azerbaijan's Shusha continues to amaze with pace of its recovery

The city of Shusha continues to amaze with the pace of its restoration and revival, Libyan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ali Salem Naser said during the visit of foreign diplomats to the liberated territories, Report informs.

"I have already been here, but every time I see something new. The pace of restoration is impressive," the diplomat noted, sharing his impressions of another visit to the historical city.

The ambassador emphasized the scale of the restoration and construction work that has been carried out in the city since its liberation from occupation.

Ali Naser paid special attention to the cultural ties between the Azerbaijani and Arab worlds, which are clearly visible in the architecture and history of the city.

"Being in Shusha and looking at historical monuments, I see many common interweavings with Arab culture. Mosques are being built here, I see how close your culture is to ours. I know that you have a story about Leyli and Majnun, which is also similar to our Arab legends," the ambassador emphasized.
