Over 100 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan on June 23 afternoon, Report informs.
There was no high activity in the process of evacuating foreign citizens from Iran to Azerbaijan through the Astara checkpoint in the first half of the day, in the afternoon, more than 100 people crossed the Iranian-Azerbaijani border for further departure to their countries.
Among those evacuated through the humanitarian corridor using a special code for passage through Azerbaijani territory were citizens of Canada, France, Kyrgyzstan, the US, China, Pakistan, Germany, Tajikistan, as well as Mexican diplomats.
In recent hours, Italians of Iranian origin have predominated among those crossing the border in the direction of Azerbaijan. The evacuation process continues.
