Work is underway on nearly 200 amendments to the Azerbaijani Labor Code, according to Anar Aliyev, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population, Report informs.
Aliyev made the announcement at a conference held on April 28 - World Day for Safety and Health at Work and the 120th anniversary of the first collective agreement on labor relations in the East.
He noted that the ministry is taking continuous measures to improve labor relations:
"Currently, work is underway on nearly 200 amendments to the Labor Code. These changes mainly include provisions for regulating remote work, implementing an hourly wage system, ensuring equal pay for work of equal value, eliminating discrimination against workers with family responsibilities and women, and other issues."
